Crossroads
Crossroads takes its name from the 40-acre Crossroads Mall at the heart of the neighborhood. The mall serves as an informal community center and is known for its inclusion of such activities as free live music, public art and cultural events, and a weekly farmers' market. The Crossroads neighborhood has a large international population - including sizable Asian, Eastern European, and Hispanic populations - and over sixty languages are spoken in the area's schools. The name 'Crossroads,' therefore, is a fitting one; it describes the meeting of cultures and sharing of ideas that make this unique community so remarkable.
